
Stephen Schmitt, DDS MS | President / CEO - Founder
Dr. Schmitt was the former Chairman of the Department of Prosthodontics at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center, the largest Department of Defense hospital, and he served as Consultant to the Surgeon General of the Air Force. He spent the past seven years in private practice developing Voxelogix’s digitally integrated full arch restoration protocol. He has nearly 30 years of clinical and teaching experience. He is a nationally recognized pioneer in digitally assisted restorative dental treatment.
Dr. Schmitt formerly served as the Director of the Medical Group for Rapid Technologies in the Society of Manufacturing Engineers and is a highly sought speaker at both manufacturing and dental conferences.
As the founder of Digital Implant Technologies and Voxelogix Corporation, Dr. Stephen Schmitt also holds several recognized patents.
In 1975 he received his D.D.S. degree from the University of Minnesota. He then earned his specialty certification in Prosthodontics from Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in 1982 and his Masters of Science in Prosthodontics from the University of Texas Health Center in the same year.
He is a diplomat of the American Board of Prosthodontics. Dr. Schmitt has lectured throughout the United States and Europe.
Before solely focusing on Voxelogix, he held a private Prosthodontic practice for the last 15 years in San Antonio, Texas.

Ben Young, DDS MS | Chief Clinical Officer
Dr. Young is a board-certified Periodontist with an extensive background in dental education. In addition, he has advanced knowledge in the areas of advanced 3D imaging and surgical techniques for the replacement of failing teeth with dental implant-supported hybrids.
In addition to his direct patient-care activities, Dr. Young oversees the Voxelogix in-house live-patient training experience for restorative dentists, implant surgeons, support personnel and patients.
Dr. Young graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 1980 while on an Air Force scholarship. He has completed both a one-year General Practice residency and a three-year Periodontics residency and has lectured and trained at all levels of dental education.

W.B. Barker, Ph.D. | Vice President Business Development
Dr. Barker is a seasoned computer/communications executive, president of five advanced technology products companies. He was the CEO of a Nasdaq National Markets company, and Senior Vice President of a $200 million NYSE technology company. With balanced marketing and technical strengths, he has successfully defined new strategic directions.
He holds a B.A. in Chemistry and Physics, and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Mathematics/Computer Science from Harvard. Dr. Barker has written numerous papers, patents, and congressional testimony on computer architecture, packet switching, laser physics, graphical design software, and national competitiveness. He has also served as a board member for numerous charities.

Matt Reedy | Vice President of Information Technology
Matt Reedy is a 35-year veteran of the information technology and software industries. Since 1980, he has been a co-founder or early employee of 4 technology start-up firms. Matt was co-founder, chairman and chief technology officer of IQ Software Corporation, a software firm that developed business intelligence products. After IQ Software's $13.5 million IPO (NASDAQ:IQSW) in 1992, the company grew to more than $24 million in annual revenue and more than 170 employees. IQSW was purchased in October 1998 by another public company and was subsequently merged into Computer Associates.
Mr. Reedy was an Entrepreneur of the Year winner in 1993. He is actively involved in the San Antonio technology community, including as a founding board member of SATAI (San Antonio Technology Accelerator Initiative, now StarTech), a founding member of TASA (Technology Advocates of San Antonio), and a former board member of the North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce.
He currently serves on the boards of several San Antonio non-profit organizations. Mr. Reedy earned a BS in Computer Science from Trinity University and an MBA from St. Mary's University.

Reed Schmitt | COO
Mr. Schmitt has worked with many associations, charities and foundations. His work background includes previously working for Fat Tire Bikes, which took him to Paris, France where he was a director of tour guides assisting over 20,000 clients there and in Washington D.C.
He also has worked with Texas A&M’s Pre-Dental Society, Project Smile, as well as the National Science Foundation where he assisted in creating 3D rendered models from cat-scan data. He has a background in software such as Cinema 4D, CADKEY, Solid View, and MasterCam.
Mr. Schmitt received his Bachelors of Science in Biology from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas before moving to San Antonio, Texas.
Amy Schmitt | Director of Marketing
With a background in communications, advertising as well as accounting she has learned to wear many hats in the companies for which she has worked. Ms. Schmitt has worked not only in Texas, but on the west coast as well.
After helping open a home furnishings and staging company, Studio D, in Oakland, California, she came aboard to handle their many financial accounts. Ms. Schmitt also handled all the marketing and executive duties for both Studio D locations in Oakland, as well as San Francisco.
After coming to San Antonio, Texas in late 2006, she assisted a financial advisor at RBC Dain Rauscher Wealth Management before joining Voxelogix.
Ms. Schmitt was a Communications major at St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas.
