Schedule a consultation visit (about 30 minutes). We are happy to meet with you in person and answer your questions and concerns at no charge. We encourage you to bring one or two trusted advisors to this appointment. Should you decide to proceed with having us prepare a diagnostic treatment plan, we will explain all the fees associated with this diagnostic process and make all the arrangements. (Fees can vary depending on your individual circumstances.) In many cases, we are able to begin the diagnostic process on the same day as your initial consultation, if you so desire.
Begin the diagnostic process. During this step, we will conduct a review of your medical and dental history and an intra-oral examination. We will make impressions of your teeth (and/or removable appliances) and take a few intra-oral photographs as well as pictures to help us study your smile. (We do not release photographs that identify you except with your permission.) Finally, we will perform a 40-second cone beam CT scan of your head and face that will tell us about the condition of your teeth and facial bones.
Review of findings. At this appointment (about a week later) we will provide you with a list of reasonable treatment alternatives that are based on your unique circumstances. All fees for the NeXsmile procedure will be clearly identified and explained at this time - there will be no future hidden expenses. You will receive easy to read and understand documents to help you explain the treatment recommendation to others with whom you wish to discuss it.
Schedule the first NeXsmile appointments. Should you elect to proceed with the treatment, then we will work with you to schedule your next appointments. If you have a trusted dentist, we will invite him or her into this process in a way that will help you to return to routine care in his or her office. Should your dentist not be familiar with our procedure, we will provide him or her with all the information necessary to manage any future care you will need once the NeXsmile procedure is completed.
